Teen program on chocolate at Palatine Public Library District
Palatine Public Library District will host a free program for teenagers called "Chocolate: Taste, Touch, Temper" on Tuesday, Sept. 4. Set for 7 to 8 p.m., representatives from Morkes Chocolate in Palatine will lead the program. They plan to discuss the different levels of chocolate, history of their business, and the chocolate industry. Participants will get to have tastings and get involved in the professional technique of tempering. The program is geared for students in grades seven through 12.
