Eight more Dist. 211 students earn perfect ACT scores

On April 30, the Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 school board will honor eight students who earned the highest-possible composite score of 36 on the ACT exam this year.

The students are Brian Lu of Palatine High School and Daniel Classon, Kellie Halloran, Cameron Harro, Jiamin Huang, Abigail Iuorio, Jennie Yan and Soumyaa Mazumder of Fremd High School.

The district recently honored Palatine High School twins Kyle and Ryan Jannak-Huang for the same achievement.

On average, fewer than one-tenth of 1 percent of all students who take the ACT attain a score of 36.
