Williams, Cervantes spark Bandits past Racers

Tammy Williams belted a 2-run homer and drove in 3 runs, and Brittany Cervantes also had 3 RBI as the host Chicago Bandits beat the Akron Racers 8-5 at the Ballpark at Rosemont on Thursday.

Cervantes has 28 RBI for the Bandits (11-8) and 21 have come against the Racers (10-11).

Reliever Sara Molton worked 3 innings to earn the win, and Emily Allard added an RBI single.
