Prospect Hts. holding block party June 27

Prospects Heights is holding a block party sponsored by the city and the park district 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Lion's Park, 110 W. Camp McDonald Road. The pet pageant kicks off the event at 4 PM. The Prospect Heights Voice Singing Competition is at 5 PM. Children's games and inflatables are from 5 to 9 PM. Food vendors and beer tent are from 5 to 10 PM. From 6to 9 PM, free swimming is available at Lion's Pool. The Creative Kids Preschool silent auction runs from 6 to 9 PM.
