Garage sale continues Saturday for student scholarships at Judson U.

The Friends of Judson University kicked off its annual garage sale Friday at First Baptist Church in Elgin. All proceeds will go to scholarships for Judson University students.

The Friends of Judson University is a nonprofit organization and the garage sale is just one of several fundraisers held throughout the year to raise money for scholarships.

There is a range of items for sale, including furniture, tools, children's toys, housewares, linens, bedding, seasonal items, books, jewelry, clothing and many more miscellaneous items.

The sale continues 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church, 1735 W. Highland Ave.
