Buffalo Grove police hosting public forum on burglaries

Buffalo Grove police are inviting community members to a public meeting Thursday to discuss a recent rash of home burglaries in the village and surrounding towns.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Buffalo Grove Fire Station 27, 100 W. Half Day Road, in Buffalo Grove. Members of the police department will be present to provide residents with information and answer questions.

According to the department, there was been an increase in resident burglaries in Buffalo Grove and the Northwest suburbs. Police are asking residents to be aware of any suspicious people or vehicles in or around their neighborhoods.
