Congress gives banks chance to gouge us

Well, Congress passed legislation so that the government wouldn't shut down. In the process, however, they have once again eased control on financial institutions that will allow them once again to gouge the American people and send us into another recession. It happened during the Reagan-Bush years with the savings and loans crisis and during the Bush II years with the banks.

I truly hope I am wrong, but I can't help feeling that with the new Congress loosening the reins the banks will run amok again and again the taxpayers will have to bail them out because "they are too big to fail."
