Wauconda looking for school board applicants

Wauconda Unit District 118 officials are seeking applicants for a vacancy on the school board. Applicants may send a letter outlining their interest and a resume to: Board President John Armstrong, 555 North Main St., Wauconda, IL, 60084. They can also be sent via email to jarmstrong@d118.org or by fax to (847) 526-1019. The application deadline is Dec. 15. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, residents of the district for at least one year and registered voters. The appointment is expected to occur by Jan. 9.
