Boys basketball: Fox Valley roundup Monday, Jan. 19

Huntley 7th: David Cruz scored 18 points and Connor Boesch added 14 with 9 rebounds as the Red Raiders took seventh place at the Wheaton Warrenville South MLK Tournament with a 73-54 win over Waukegan. Earlier in the day, Huntley fell to Metea Valley 52-42, Boesch and Cruz each had 10 points in that loss.

Palatine 67, Streamwood 57: At Lake Zurich, Jake McGlone had 13 points and Cole Seger 11 for Streamwood.

Burlington Central falls twice: The Rockets lost to Dixon 55-48 and to Sterling 57-52 at the Sterling MLK Shootout. Zach Schutta, Andrew Wiss and Ryan Fitzgerald had 10 points each in the Dixon loss, while Wiss scored 15 and Schutta 10 against Sterling.
