Driver dies after vehicle goes out of control on Eola Road in Aurora

A man died after a vehicle lost control and struck another vehicle Friday evening, Aurora police said.

Police said the accident occurred at about 6 p.m. at Eola Road and Prospect Drive when a southbound vehicle on Eola apparently lost control, crossed the median and hit a northbound vehicle on the driver's side.

The victim was in the northbound vehicle, police said. A passenger in that vehicle was transported to the hospital, as was the single occupant from the southbound vehicle.
