Kane County election forum set for Wednesday
The League of Women Voters of Central Kane County is having a candidate forum Wednesday night for the Kane County sheriff, Kane County Board District 11 and state House District 50 elections.
It is at 6:30 p.m. at Kane Branch Court, 540 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.
Republican Keith Wheeler of Oswego faces Democrat Valerie Burd of Yorkville for the District 50 seat.
Democrat Martha Hanna of Batavia faces Republican John Martin of Geneva for the Kane District 11 post.
Republican Don Kramer of Geneva faces Aurora Democrat Willie Mayes for the sheriff's position.
