Police believe Waukegan bank robber has struck a second time
A Waukegan bank was robbed for the second time in a week Monday afternoon, and police believe the same man committed both heists.
Monday's robbery happened about 1:20 p.m. at Fifth Third Bank, 800 S. Waukegan. Police say the man entered the bank without displaying a weapon and took an undisclosed amount of money.
The robber was described as a black man, 5-feet 7-inches tall, 135 to 145 pounds, with an average build. Last Monday's robbery occurred about 3 p.m.
