Congress candidate has fought for everyday citizens

Let’s contrast the two candidates for Congress from Illinois District 11.

I have been to meet and greets with Mr. Foster. I asked about his contributions to the Equal Rights Amendment. His answer – it was a complicated issue. Not true. What remains is pretty straightforward. What has he done to lead efforts for women’s rights? Nothing. He co- sponsored bill(s). He does nothing to personally lead those efforts.

Mr. Foster says he is for a cease-fire in Palestine but is heavily funded by J-Street which is anti-ceasefire. He has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from J-Street and it’s donors.

Mr. Foster says he supports fair housing but has taken tens of thousands of dollars from the National Realtors Association who was just assessed 1.8 billion in damages for inflating commissions.

Mr. Foster says he supports climate change and yet he has taken tens of thousands of dollars from Exxon and companies that invest in fossil fuel projects like Blackrock.

It is time for change. It is time for Qasim Rashid.
