Elk Grove Village man charged in 2013 fatal shooting in Chicago
A 23-year-old Elk Grove Village man has been charged with murder in the 2013 fatal shooting of a 68-year-old man in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood, police said.
Joshua Johnson, 23, also faces one felony count of attempted armed robbery, Chicago police said.
Johnson was arrested on Friday after being identified in connection to the murder of the man on Dec. 12, 2013, police said.
The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest on the 1900 block of North Spaulding Avenue in Chicago, police said.
Johnson was being held without bail in Cook County jail.
He is due in court Monday.
