New gas station, retail space plan to go before Palatine council
A plan to add a new gas station and shopping center just west of Harper College in Palatine is expected to go before the village council Monday night.
According to village documents, the development will be located at 1776 S. Roselle Road, just northwest of the intersection of Roselle and Algonquin roads. The plan calls for 10 gas pumps, a gas station building and another building that can be broken up into six retail units. The plan would redevelop about 2.25 acres that are currently vacant. The plan calls for 105 parking spaces.
The village's plan commission voted unanimously to approve the proposal at its July 7 meeting.
