Let Iraqis fight it out themselves

Forget Iraq. The place has cost the American people a trillion dollars and thousands of lives. Why help them again? Let them fight it out for themselves.

There are people who say we have to because it will become a base for al-Qaida. How will the bad guys get here? The U.S. Navy rules the waves. To steal a line from an old Roy Acuff song, they would just be "smoke on the water."
