No. 2 Annawan overwhelms Harvest Christian

Annawan 80, Harvest Christian 39: Playing in the Chicagoland Invitational Showcase at Fremd, Harvest Christian fell to the state's second-ranked Class 1A team. Paulina Castro led Harvest (5-3) with 25 points, including five 3-pointers. Castro, an NIU recruit, now has 975 career points. Alyssa Iverson added 9 points for the Lions. Sophomore Jayde VanHyfte led Annawan with 31 points while Illinois State recruit Morgan VanHyfte added 17.

Aurora Christian 50, Putnam County 37: At the Amboy Shootout, Kirsten Mason hit for 20 points to lead the Eagles (3-4) to a win. Tori Henning added 10 points and Sami Hultine had 8 for Aurora Christian.

CL South 62, CL Central 33: Kelly Gaede scored 10 points while Taylor Keegan and Taylor Josefowicz added 9 each to lead the Gators (6-3) to this Fox Valley Conference crossover win. Chanel Fanter added 8 points for Crystal Lake South.

Kaneland 82, IMSA 18: Jenni Weber had 17 points and Morgan Weber added 12 for Kaneland (6-0) in this nonconference win. Nicole Koczka added 9 points for the Knights while Camri Conley and Kylie Modaff had 8 each.
