Waukegan police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 53-year-old man, authorities announced Monday. His name was not released. The man's body was discovered about 9:15 p.m. Sunday behind the steering wheel of a car near Hickory and Center streets. Police had gone to that location for a noise complaint. The case is considered a homicide, police said. No other details were available.
