Hampshire-Henpeck HCE to meet Jan. 20

Hampshire-Henpeck Home Community and Education will start the new year with a meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 20, at a new time, 12:30 p.m., at the Heartland Bank, 819 Warner St. in Hampshire. The unit lesson this month is on "The ABC's of GMOs."

The roll call question this month will be, "If You Could Have Any Vacation, What Would It Be?" Refreshments will be provided by Lorry Tasch and Barb Mursu.

Hampshire-Henpeck Unit members, along with Pingree Grove members and guests, had their December meeting with a Christmas luncheon at Jameson's in Huntley.

At the luncheon, unit members distributed Christmas gifts which were purchased and wrapped for a family in Hampshire. An enjoyable time was had by all.

If you are interested in attending any of our meetings or just would like more information on our organization, call Barb Mursu, (847) 683-2426, for more details.

We are looking forward to an exciting, fun and informative new year!
