Buffalo Grove bank robbed

A Chase Bank branch at 175 N. McHenry Road in Buffalo Grove was robbed shortly before 5 p.m. Friday, according to the FBI.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 6 feet tall, medium build, with black hair. He wore sunglasses, a black zip-up jacket and a white shirt.
It was a non-takeover robbery, according to Special Agent Garrett Croon, media coordinator for the FBI's Chicago office.
The robber implied he had a handgun, according to a report on arlingtoncardinal.com.
