Millburn Tree Farm wins award

The Illinois Association of Park Districts and Illinois Park and Recreation Association have presented a 2014 Community Service Award to the Millburn Tree Farm for its outstanding contributions to the Lindenhurst Park District. Over the years, the Bob Holbach family, owner of Millburn Tree Farm, has provided communitywide involvement through regular volunteerism, cooperation, and sponsorship through resources, at various Park District events and projects, officials said. The award was presented at the local level during the Lindenhurst Park District's March 10 pard board meeting.
