South suburban man charged with sex trafficking
The FBI says a Dolton man has been charged with transporting underage individuals from Indiana to Illinois for commercial sex acts.
The FBI and federal prosecutors said Friday that 21-year-old Tyrelle Lockett is charged with one count of transporting a minor across state lines with the intent of having the minor engage in prostitution.
Officials say Lockett was arrested in Chicago late Wednesday. They say he appeared in federal court Thursday and was ordered held pending a Monday court appearance.
Prosecutors accuse Lockett of bringing three minors from the Muncie, Indiana, area to Chicago.
Lockett doesn't have a listed telephone number in Dolton.
