Candidate has good background in Dist. 127

The Daily Herald has endorsed four of the five candidates running for the Grayslake High School District 127 School Board - all but Hal Sloan. I don't know the endorsed candidates, but I have known Hal Sloan for over 30 years and I am certain that he would make a strong, positive contribution to District 127.

Hal was the first in his family to seek and complete higher education. He instilled this same value in his own three children who, following graduation from Grayslake High School, all went on to successful college and graduate school experiences. In addition, Hal's career in sales has built skills that enable him to communicate effectively with a wide array of people.

Hal is a tireless worker and very much a "there when you need him" kind of person that any team would be fortunate to have.

So don't count him out of this election. Those who know Hal Sloan will be voting for him.
