Program trains vets, helps save planet

The April 4 article about President Obama's announcement of a new initiative to help military veterans obtain jobs after leaving the service is great.

The program teaches service members how to install solar panels on the bases, so that they are able to find jobs in civilian life. This will also save the planet, by decreasing toxic and hazardous pollution.

Wind and solar are very good alternatives to coal and gas.

Let's all come together to save the earth for the coming generations. I want my grandchildren to have a clean world to live in.
