Honky Tonk Hoedown, District 214 Community Education Style!
Forest View Educational Center will become Honky Tonk Hoedown central on Saturday, April 11, from 6-10:30 p.m., for the annual "intergenerational" dinner-dance party.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students (K-12). These include dinner (with a country/western flavor in keeping with the theme), a show that will feature Cowboy Randy Erwin who will sing, yodel and perform some roping tricks, and Matt Campbell, an American troubadour who is now based in Nashville; and dancing.
The dinner-dance follows a time-tested tradition that fosters understanding between generations - our District 214 high school students and the young-at-heart - who will create and share memories together and have fun for a few hours that evening.
Come in your country/western garb to win a prize for best in costume. Please call Community Education at 847-718-7700 to buy your tickets. This event is reserved seating.
