Learn history of Lords Park Zoo with bison feeding
On Saturday, July 25, visit the Elgin Public Museum bright and early to learn about the fascinating history of the Lords Park Zoo. From 7 to 8:30 a.m., they will discuss its beginnings, its mission and also some entertaining incidents - you can decide if the stories are myth or fact!
Along with the history lesson, attendees will visit the pens of the elk and deer, and even help feed the bison. Bison feedings are held every last Saturday of the month, with a limit of 12 participants. For this day only, they are opening up the list to 15 participants. Places go fast, so reserve yours today!
Cost is $2 or $1 for children; museum members are admitted free.
