Possible 3-6 inches of snow expected Saturday night, Sunday

Just as we were letting down our winter guard a bit, Old Man Winter is sneaking back in with the threat of snow this weekend.

An Alberta clipper is scheduled to move through the Midwest Saturday night and Sunday, bringing with it 3-6 inches of snow, according to AccuWeather.

In particular, AccuWeather says I-80 and I-90 are expected to be slippery all way from Chicago to Cleveland.

The exact timing of the Canadian clipper isn't precise, but AccuWeather says the storm will move across the northern Plains Saturday night. Expect snow through Sunday afternoon.

Temperatures in Chicago are expected to stay in the 30s through the weekend, but dip into the teens late Sunday night.

Cities that may get enough snow for travel delays on Sunday include Minneapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Madison, Wisconsin.
