North Central announces 2015-16 lineup
The Doobie Brothers, Peter Frampton, Jonny Lang and The Tenors are among stars headlining North Central College's 2015-2016 fine and performing arts season.
Rodney Atkins, David Benoit, Canadian Brass, the Chicago Jazz Orchestra, Giordano Dance Chicago, Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy, Jim Peterik & World Stage, David Sanborn and The Temptations are also among highlights of the coming season.
Tickets for individual performances are on sale by calling (630) 637-7469, online at www.northcentralcollege.edu/show or in person at the box office in the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave.
"We work each season to bring our audiences the best artists in as many different genres as are available," said Fine Arts Director Brian Lynch. "We could not be more thrilled with the variety of well-known artists, the diverse spectrum of talent and the number of unique performances we are bringing to our audiences this season."
Patrons may buy discounted tickets to five different series: Cabaret, Classical, Contemporary, Jazz and Performing Arts. Patrons may also create their own A La Carte Series and buy seats at a 10 percent discount when purchasing tickets to five or more shows. Additional artists will be announced at later dates.
North Central's student and faculty musicians, actors and artists will be featured in numerous events, and the season includes a full schedule of exhibits in the college's three art galleries. North Central College's venues include the Wentz Concert Hall, with acoustics designed by Talaske Sound Thinking.
