Hoffman Park District to debut new digital signs

The Hoffman Estates Park District will complete construction this month of its new electronic signs in front of the Triphahn Community Center and Ice Arena, Willow Recreation Center, Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club and Vogelei Park.

The digital, full color displays will replace old marquees at those locations.

The park district will dedicate the signs in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, in the front parking lot of the Triphahn Center.

In addition to promoting the park district's programs and events, the signs will promote village happenings, including events at the Sears Centre Arena, and provide up-to-the-minute community emergency messages such as Amber Alerts and weather warnings.
