LSU sweeps Louisiana Sports Writers Association honors

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - LSU sweeps voting for the Louisiana Sports Writers Association players of the week honors after the Tigers win at home over Florida in a battle of top 10 schools.

The Tigers defeated the Gators, 35-28, on a score by placekicker Trent Domingue who took a lateral pass from holder Brad Kragthorpe on a fake field goal and scored from 16 yards out. That earned Domingue special teams honors as voted by the LSWA panel.

Leonard Fournette was the offensive player after getting 180 yards and two scores to earn offensive player of the week for a fifth time, while end Lewis Neal was the defensive selection after having three sacks against the Gators.
