Sparreo paces a Stevenson win

Girls cross country

Isabelle Sparreo placed first to lead Stevenson to an 18-45 win over Warren in girls cross country on Monday. Sparreo finished with an 18:06.2.

The Patriots also claimed four of the next five top finishes, starting with Jessica Philipp. She took second place with an 18:48.4. Shea Kirby was fourth (19:41.9), Gabriela Jagielo was fifth (19:46.3) and Natalie Sparreo was sixth (20:06.19).

Emily Jahn of Warren placed third with a 19:26.6.
