Grayslake Central goes to 10-1 in NLCC

Kate Bullman scored 16 points and Payton Gosell added 12 points to lead Grayslake Central in a 54-31 victory against host Lakes in Northern Lake County Conference girls basketball Saturday.

Kyle Jozwik scored 11 points for Lakes, which drops to 11-15 and 5-5 in the NLCC.

Grayslake Central improved to 17-7 overall and 10-1 in the league.

Grayslake North 53, Wauconda 42: Grayslake North out-scored Wauconda 21-12 in the fourth quarter to get the win.

Savannah Guenther scored 19 points to lead Grayslake North, which got at least 5 points from 5 players.

The Knights improve to 10-13 overall and 7-4 in the Northern Lake County Conference.

Wauconda, which drops to 12-11 and 5-6 in the league, got a game-high 26 points and 18 rebounds from Allie Tylka. Tylka also rolled up 4 steals and 2 blocks.

Grant at North Chicago: Saturday night's scheduled game was postponed. No makeup date was announced.
