Eat pancakes with Easter Bunny at Aurora Lions’ breakfast March 16

The Aurora Lions Club will hold its annual Easter pancake breakfast fundraiser Saturday, March 16.

The fundraiser to support Lions' charities will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 27 E. Edgelawn Drive in Aurora. The public is invited to meet the Easter Bunny. Parking is free.

In addition to pancakes, the event will include free vision screenings, balloon sculptures, face painting and plush bunny raffles.

Used eyeglasses will be accepted for recycling. The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, mini doughnuts, orange juice, milk and coffee. Tickets are $10 or $8 for children 3 to 12 years old.

Proceeds will benefit Lions' programs to aid vision- and hearing-impaired persons. Tickets are available from Aurora Lions, at the door, or by calling (630) 921-1307.

Founded in 1922, Aurora Lions Club (formerly Aurora Noon Lions Club) is celebrating its second century of community service.

Open to men and women interested in community service, the club meets at noon on the first and third Thursdays at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 27 E. Edgelawn Drive in Aurora. Prospective members are invited.
