Dumpsters and special brush pickup to aid in Geneva tornado cleanup

The city of Geneva will provide temporary dumpsters and a special brush collection to aid in tornado cleanup efforts.

Dumpsters will be in the Pepper Valley subdivision on Essex Court, Cambridge Drive, Pepper Valley Drive and Deerfield Way. Residents are encouraged to place larger items, such as windows, siding or fencing, in the provided dumpsters. The dumpsters will be removed in the morning on Monday, March 4.

A special brush collection will be offered Monday through Wednesday for residents generally living within Cambridge Drive, South Street, Country Club Place, State Street and Williamsburg Avenue. A collection map specifying eligible residents is available on the city’s website.
