Chris Sparkman to lead village of Long Grove
The village of Long Grove announced the appointment of Chris Sparkman as its new village manager.
Prior to joining Long Grove, Sparkman held key positions at the village of Grayslake, most recently serving as the assistant village manager.
Sparkman holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky.
Village President Bill Jacob stated, “Our board of trustees interviewed numerous candidates and selected Chris because of his proven track record of effective governance and community development. His expertise in strategic planning, budget management and stakeholder engagement will help our village tremendously.”
The village of Long Grove is 35-miles Northwest of Chicago, in Lake County, Illinois, and was incorporated in 1956.
