Mixed-up policy

I read the letter Saturday from Gerald Thomas about what the Democrats have brought, and I agree with him completely. “Let's force all women of childbearing age to take birth-control pills because that's a decision they cannot seem to make. Abortion gone; no more killing babies.” But how does he convince his Republican buddies of this, when we all know the only policy they've ever believed in and will ever consider is keeping all “childbearing” women “barefoot and pregnant?”
