Sanogo leads Windy City Bulls past Westchester

The Windy City Bulls, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, beat the Westchester Knicks 98-84 Thursday night. Windy City was led by Chicago Bulls two-way forward Adama Sanogo with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds.

‌Chicago Bulls Two-way forward Henri Drell finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Quenton Jackson chipped in 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

Westchester took a 28-21 lead despite Sanogo leading all scorers with nine points in the first quarter. The Bulls took a 7-point lead at halftime after outscoring the Knicks 29-15 in the second quarter.

Windy City maintained control in the third quarter, extending the lead to 16. Drell scored 8 of his 16 points in the third quarter. The Bulls finished with 62 points in the paint in the 14-point win.

Westchester was led by guard Brandon Goodwin with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard De’Vion Harmon finished with 20 points for the Knicks.

With the win, Windy City improved to 7-12 in the regular season, while Westchester fell to 6-15.

Next up Windy City will take on the Indiana Mad Ants on Saturday. The game is slated to tip-off at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on NBC Sports Chicago and Tubi TV.
