Buffalo Grove business owner supports local educators

“It was a chance to help those who help our students.”

COUNTRY Financial Representative Justin Truong recently provided the Meridian School with a donation of $1,500. The funds will be used to provide gift cards to help teachers buy supplies.

“I have a colleague who is a teacher at the school, and I marvel at how she and her fellow colleagues do so much for the next generation,” said Truong. “The staff and teachers are committed to educating and building up these students. I’m gratified to be able to join with them and assist students continue learning and excelling.”

COUNTRY Financial has donated more than $6 million since 2020 to organizations and programs that support first responders, active-duty service members and veterans, supporting the company’s vision to “enrich lives in the communities we serve.”

The Operation Helping Heroes program was created in 2015 to support nonprofit events and programs that benefit active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. Later, the program expanded to include first responders and teachers.
