Huskies rally to get first win of season

DEKALB -- Senior Shaun Logan scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds to lead Northern Illinois to a come-from-behind 65-63 victory over Lamar on Saturday afternoon.

Egan Grafel tipped the ball in as time expired to secure the win for the Huskies (1-6). Grafel had 10 points and eight rebounds; Jeremy Landers added 14 points -- on 5-for-5 shooting -- and four assists.

The Cardinals (1-5) led 38-30 at the half.

But the Huskies came back with 44 percent (15-for-34) shooting from the field in the second half, compared to Lamar's 34.4 percent (11-for-32).

Kenny Dawkins scored 16 points and Lamar Sanders added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Cardinals.
