High winds knock out power, damage trees in area
High winds knocked out power and damaged tree limbs and branches in the Chicago area overnight.
ComEd spokesman Joe Trost says 58,000 customers are still without power Sunday morning. Crews have restored power for about another 10,000 customers who had been affected by the outages.
Trost warns people not to touch downed power lines. He says downed power lines should be reported by calling 1-800-EDISON-1.
Chicago officials say more than 200 downed trees and limbs have been reported, along with almost 60 traffic signals out.
