Tidal Wave auction, dance set for April 19

St. Edward Central Catholic High School in Elgin will hold its 19th annual Tidal Wave auction and dinner dance April 19 at the Stonegate Centre in Hoffman Estates.

This year's theme will be "Puttin' on the Ritz."

All alumni, family and friends are invited to attend this exciting, fun filled event which includes dinner, and live and silent auctions. To top off the evening, there is dancing to the music of a deejay.

To donate an item, place an ad in the auction catalog, become a sponsor or to attend this gala event, call the Tidal Wave hotline at (847) 741-7535, ext. 123. Volunteers also are needed.

Proceeds will benefit scholarships, expenses and enhancements to the school.

In past years, they have raised more than $100,000 annually to support the school. The event is also an opportunity to honor and thank alumni and friends for their support.
