Give holiday help to less fortunate
I am thankful for so many things; my wife and daughters, good friends, and the opportunity to serve our community as state representative. I am truly blessed.
Sadly, there are many families in our community that are not as lucky. We must not forget that many Illinois residents, some right here in our backyard, are without food, the basic necessity of life.
That is why I am hosting a food drive through Dec. 14. Donations will be shared between the Schaumburg Township and Hanover Township food pantries.
Non-perishable food items can be brought to my constituent service office, located at 1014. E. Schaumburg Road in Streamwood. Donations will then be delivered to the food pantries in time for the holiday season.
Helping those in need is the cornerstone of my service to our community, and for those who are as fortunate as I am to have a roof over your head, food on the table and loved ones to celebrate with, I urge you to join me in helping others and give back to those who truly need it.
