The church, state issue is explained
Many FencePost writers have commented on "separation of church and state" issues in the Herald lately.
Here is one which I hope will amuse.
Many people question why it is impermissible to publicly post the Ten Commandments in courthouses. The real reason that the Ten Commandments cannot be posted in courthouses is that you cannot post "Thou Shalt not Steal," Thou Shalt not Commit Adultery" and "Thou Shalt not bear False Witness" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians.
It creates a hostile work environment!
