DuPage board has doomed all of us

I was at the Nov. 27 DuPage County Board meeting and was appalled at the all-Republican board's fiscal irresponsibility. They approved the doomsday budget which will seriously damage human services in the county and then stalled the implementation until Feb. 15! They are unable to make a decision. Instead they've foisted the disaster onto the public, and they are asking them to approve a sales tax increase. The tax increase would bail out the board, but doesn't have a chance of being approved.

The DuPage County Board has doomed us all.
