Cut taxes for those without school kids

Here it is real estate tax time again. Are we ever going to see relief from school taxes?

I thought the lottery was supposed to pay for this and then be eliminated from my tax bill? But I guess being the crooked state Illinois is, that money went bye bye to some special interest or to the General Fund for the boys in Springfield to waste away!

If you don't have children in school, that tax should be eliminated from your real estate taxes, if not at least once you retire and are not making the income to keep up with the school portion.

Why aren't the other people who don't own property paying into this to relieve the property owners, like the renter's etc. ?

The Daily Herald said some teachers would receive a 14 per cent increase with the latest contract in District 211. Wow, can someone get me a 14 percent increase in my Social Security so I can pay for that ridiculous raise?

We need legislation to stop these taxes if you do not have children in school, so we don't have to lose our homes while the teachers have caviar and steak for supper on our backs. Please legislators do something to correct this total misuse of our money.
