Bartlett crash sends three to hospital
Three people were hospitalized after a Friday afternoon crash in Bartlett, police said.
At about 2:25 p.m., the driver of a Ford Explorer going south on Newport Boulevard hit a Ford Probe going east on Longford Road and its intersection with Newport, according to Bartlett police.
Both vehicles lost control, eventually winding up in the front yard of a home on the 100 block of Longford.
Officials said the driver of the Probe, Adam N. Kulik, 17, of Juniper Lane in Bartlett, did not yield at a stop sign. Police ticketed Kulik for disobeying a stop sign.
Both drivers and one passenger were taken to area hospitals for treatment, but according to Sgt. Geoffrey Pretkelis, none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
