Tithe means: Give until it feels good

The article in the Daily Herald Sunday on tithing was interesting, but it neglected a very important fact. The information that the direction to tithe one's income to God is found in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible is certainly accurate, but what was not stated is that all that we have has been given to us by God.

A 10 percent or more tithe back is merely a token of our many blessings and possessions! Giving, not until it hurts, but until it feels good is a wonderful experience.

Tithing or tithing plus is not a curse but a joy for God's good stewards.
