Garbage truck accident causes delays on Arlington Heights Road

A garbage truck hit a telephone wire on Arlington Heights Road between Thomas and Olive streets in Arlington Heights at about 3:30 p.m. today, police said. No one was injured although parts of the road were shut down for up to two hours after the accident.
