Lambs Farm to hold holiday arts and crafts fair in Rosemont

The 27th annual Lambs Farm Holiday Arts and Crafts Extravaganza will take place Nov. 29 to Dec. 2 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.

The show will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 29; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 30; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 1; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 2. The convention center is on River Road, one block south of the Kennedy Expressway.

More than 600 artists, craftsmen and folk artists from around the country will display and sell a variety of items such as decorative art, blown glass, pottery, jewelry, clothing, holiday decorations, housewares and more. The artists and craftspeople participating in the event also will be on hand to answer questions and discuss their work.

The show benefits Lambs Farm's programs to empower people with developmental disabilities.

During the event, Lambs Farm will host a booth featuring their homemade jellies, cookies, chocolates, sauces, breads and scented candles.

The cost is $8 per person. Inquiries for group rates should call Art Plus at (630) 325-8080. The parking fee will be determined by the village of Rosemont.
