Support the Fair Elections Now Act

Please support the Fair Elections Now Act. This public finance bill will take big money out of politics.

Sponsored by Congressman John Larson (D-Conn.), Sens. Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) and Arlen Specter (R-Pa), qualified candidates would receive public funding if they agree to strict spending limits and to stop taking special interest money.

Stop the constant chase for campaign money and twisting the priorities of government. We finally have a chance to stop wealthy campaign contributors and their lobbyists (insurance, pharmaceutical, oil , Halliburton, Blackwater etc...) from dominating Washington.

Tell your local candidates if they do not support this bill, they will not get your vote. This is one of the many reasons why I will be voting for John Laesch for 14th Congressional District in the Feb. 5 primary.
